It was shameful to see that Rekha who has been in the industry for such a longer period of time and has given so
many memorable performances and who is an energetic inspiration to so many youngsters and who still is divine
was accorded with a Padma Shri. To put her in the same category as Saif was an insult. Saif a fine actor is too young to be given the Padma Shri anyways. However I feel that Rekha should have been in the same category as Aamir Khan and should have received the Padma Bhusan. The Home Ministry in charge of these awards has lost its credibility.
