Mohammad Shahabuddin, is the Member of Parliament from Siwan, Bihar, of the Rashtriya Janata Dal party of Lalu Prasad Yadav. His educational qualification profile- M.A. (Political Science), Ph. D. Educated at D.A.V. High School, D.A.V. College, Siwan and B.R. Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur (Bihar), by profession he is Agriculturist ,Political and Social Worker .His political career started in 1990-96 as a Memberm of Bihar Legislative Assembly,Member, Questions and Calling Attention Committee, Bihar Legislative Assembly and Member, Petitions Committee, Bihar Legislative Assembly.In 1995-96 he was the Member of Committee on the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Bihar Legislative Assembly.In 1996,he was elected to 11th Lok Sabha and in 1996-97 as a Member, Committee on Petroleum and Chemicals.
