M M Pallam Raju, Age 46( Kakinada INC,) is a memeber of the lok Sabha of India and is the Minister of State in the Ministry of Defence. He worked in the field of Computers and Information Technology in Philadelphia,Boston(USA) and in Oslo, Norway.In 1989 – 1991,he was elected into the 9th Lok Sabha election. Since then he has held several important positions in the state unit and even at the national level. This congress man took the position as the Chairman of the Department of Policy Planning and Coordination in AICC. He served as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology in between August 2004 and January 2006.Apart from his professional life ,he takes special interest in topics like International affairs, general science, computers and telecommunications. Moreover, he is an engineer by qualification and also holds an MBA degree. In leisure time he enjoys horse riding, traveling and photography.
