Laura Dutta’s father is a retired Wing Commander LK Dutta and her mother is Jennifer. She has two sisters. She did her Twelfth standard from Frank Anthony Public School, Bangalore and has a degree in Economics from Mumbai University. In 1997, Lara won the Miss Gladrags competition, leading her to represent India at the Miss Intercontinental.
