Asin痴 father Joseph Thottumkal is a businessman while her mother Seline is a doctor. Asin attended the Naval Public School in Cochin and later on completed her Junior College from St. Theresa痴 Higher Secondary School. She has a degree in BA from St Theresa's College.Asin began her career as a businesswoman before entering filmdom.Asin is brand ambassador for various products such as Fairever, Tanishq, BIG 92.7 FM, Spinz, Parachute, Colgate and Mirinda.
