Ashok Kamte (February 23, 1965 - November 26, 2008) was the Additional Commissioner of Mumbai Police for the East Region. He was killed while fighting terrorists during the 2008 Mumbai attacks.[1]His bravery was honoured with the Ashoka Chakra on 26 January 2009.[2]
