For self-appointed keepers of the Hindu culture, vandalising card shops and beating up couples on Valentine's Day are passe. Godman Asaram Bapu has come up with a non-violent way to counter what he calls an evil tradition. Asaram has called for celebrating February 14 as a day to worship parents and has published a booklet in this regard.
