Anil Kapoor's parents are film producer Surinder Kapoor and Suchitra. His elder brother Boney is also a producer while is younger sibling Sanjay is an actor. He has a married sister, Reena. Anil Kapoor made his debut in the film Humare Tumhare in the year 1979. He is married to Sunita Kapoor and has three children, Sonam, Rhea and Harsh. Sonam Kapoor has debuted as heroine in Sanjay Leela Bansali’s Saawariya in 2007. He won his first Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor in the film Mashaal (1984). Mr India (1987) was his biggest box office hit and shot Anil Kapoor to superstardom. In 2002, he produced his first comedy film Badhaai Ho Badhaai.Anil Kapoor has been highly acclaimed for his performance as a shrewd game show host in the Golden Globe Award-winning film, Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire.
