Lavasa case: Nine accused appear in court

Pune, Jan. 30: Nine of the 15 accused in the criminal case filed against Lavasa Corporation by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board in Pune appeared today in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) through their lawyers.The court asked summons be reissued to the remaining five, including Ms Anuradha Desai, Mr Vithal Maniyar and Kunal Menghandi, as their addresses could not be found.Lavasa Chairman, Mr Ajit Gulabchand, and others requested the court for personal exemption, while the ...
